Welcome to UCASA!

United Communities Against Substance Abuse

UCASA is a joint effort of local governments, schools, civic and fraternal organizations, businesses, churched, parents and teenagers working to provide substance abuse information and support for residents, parents, and teens.  The towns, villages and schools are declared "drug free zones"; local businesses are organized to check ID's and to train their staffs, banners are flown around towns; stores display their UCASA emblems in support; a rights and responsibilities booklet was mailed to every resident; and larger corporations pledged their support.  The message is that this is a total community effort.  Events are sponsored by participating organizations.  To help make UCASA successful, we would like to keep in touch with parents for activities, dates, and the time of events.  UCASA's goal is to invite kids to have good clean fun without drugs and alcohol, and has so far, been successful.

Mission Statement
"To make our communities drug and alcohol free through the united efforts of our schools, churches, local governments, merchants, law enforcement agencies, civic organizations, residents and students"
