Providing students with rewards and support to ensure success for everyone!

Whether you are new to the Windsor Middle School or a veteran you most likely have heard some reference to the "Golden Ticket". The "Golden Ticket" is a merit based reward system used in the Middle School which enables us to reward students who are on track and assist those who need some additional support. Students who earn a "Golden Ticket" attend a rewarding two hour event each marking period and those who have not reached the established target are given two hours of specific, targeted instruction geared toward helping them reach their goal for the next marking period!
Truly a win/win stiuation! Details are outlined below:

Merit Point Distribution		"The Golden Ticket"
Points needed for a Golden Ticket: 85 Timeframe to earn pts: 6 week reports		Each student needs a 75 average in all classes and the required Merit Points
How Points are allocated Positive Points: Overall Average: (Ex. Overall average is 78 you earn 78 points Citizen of the Month: Student of the Month: Weekly good behavior Perfect attendance: School/Community Service Principal points:	+_____ +10 pts + 5 pts + 1pt/wk + 2 pts + 5 pts +1-5 pts	Awarded at the 6 week progress report Regulations: The Golden Ticket privilege can be revoked if a student falls below academic and/or merit performance standards (i.e. if a student neglects their homework or studies, their ticket may be revoked.) If a student is issued and loses their Golden Ticket a new ticket can be requested from Mr. Beattie or Mrs. Beriman. A replacement ticket will be issued for the completion of a good deed or for an action aimed at enhancing our school's positive environment.
Negative Points: Time Out Referral: Half Day Suspension: Full DaySupension:	- 2 pts - 3 pts - 8 pts -16 pts	This Golden Ticket is also used for admittance into the Golden Ticket Cafe during mod 11
